Zhang Binhai

      He is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is currently Vice Dean of the School of International Relations, Head of the Department of International Organizations and International Public Policy, Director of the Center for International Organization Studies, Peking University, and Vice President of the Institute of Global Health and Development, Peking University.
       His main research areas are: international organizations, global environment and climate politics, and Chinese environmental diplomacy. He has long participated in UN environmental and climate negotiations. He is also a member of China’s National Expert Committee on Climate Change, Executive Director of the United Nations Association of China, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the International Competence Training Professional Committee of the China Society for Educational Development Strategy, Member of the Expert Group on Trade and Environment of the Ministry of Commerce of China, Member of the Expert Committee on National Public Service of Culture and Tourism of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Member of the Expert Group on Climate and Security of the German Foreign Ministry, Member of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Economic and Social Council, the Member of the Theoretical Community of China Association for the Promotion of Environmental Culture, Member of the Committee on Climate Change and Low Carbon Development of the Chinese Meteorological Society, Member of the Committee on Global Health of the Chinese Society of Preventive Medicine.
